Aside from these titles, Ubisoft has promised that it will unveil additional surprises for attendees.
Ubisoft Chief Executive Officer Yves Guillemot has said in the past that Watch Dogs 2 will be presented in a completely "new tone." According to Guillemot, the sequel to the highly successful title has the potential to be one of Ubisoft's best-selling games of all time.
The first Watch Dogs title was released in 2014 and has sold more than nine million copies.
Following Ubisoft's confirmation that Watch Dogs 2 will debut at E3, a leak from a prominent YouTube personality surfaced on Twitter. The leak shows a photo of an alleged gift box with a Watch Dogs 2 theme.
Although Ubisoft has been very public about its plans for Watch Dogs 2, the company is yet to unveil the title officially. Ubisoft mentioned Watch Dogs 2 at a recent earnings call and added that the game will be launched before the end of April 2017.
Prior to Ubisoft's recent confirmation, a couple of leaked photographs believed to be that of the protagonist of Watch Dogs 2 were leaked online. The leaked photographs were posted on the Instagram account of a performance artist.
