The 14th match of Copa America Centenario 2016 soccer championship will be played between Mexico and Jamaica at the Rose Bowl Stadium, Pasadena CA.

The Mexican national football team, placed at the top of Group C, now aims to take control of the group when they face Jamaica on Thursday. Mexico earned a 3-1 win against Uruguay in their first encounter of Copa America last week.

Juan Carlos Osorio, the Mexican coach, accused Uruguayan defender Jose Maria Gimenez of insulting him following the match. 

"This behavior should not be accepted from a professional footballer. It is impetuous, inappropriate behaviour from a professional who not only plays in one of the best teams in the world -- Atletico Madrid - but also in one of the best national teams in the world," Osorio said. "I would like to say to Jose Maria Gimenez that any coach has the right to direct the play onto the weaker foot of any player in the world."

The Reggae Boyz, on the other hand, will continue their quest for a win in their second Copa America Centenario match. They were handed over 1-0 defeat by Venezuela in their opening match of the South American Football Championship.

"It's always hard when you go a man down but I think it shows our team spirit that we didn't concede another goal and we kept going and created chances. We gave blood sweat and tears but unfortunately we didn't hit the back of the net," Jamaican forward Giles Barnes said about their defeat.
