Beyonce, her husband, Jay-Z and their daughter, Blue Ivy were in attendance at the 2016 CFDA Awards on Monday in New York City.

The family stepped out together to support Beyonce, who was being honored with The Fashion Icon Award at the event. The Lemonade hitmaker accepted the award from Diane Von Furstenberg.

However, Jay Z and Beyonce weren't the only ones at the event. Designer Rachel Roy was also under the same roof Monday night. Many believed that Roy was the one Beyonce referenced to as "Becky with the good hair" in her track Sorry, which apparently revolves around Jay Z's infidelity.

The lyrics of the song in question includes a line that reads, "He only want me when I'm not there / He better call Becky with the good hair." 

There were rumors that in 2014, Jay-Z and Roy's flirting was the main reason behind the elevator fight between Jay Z and with Beyonce's sister, Solange Knowles.

According to eyewitnesses, Beyonce, Jay-Z and Rachel Roy were very calm and composed when they saw each other at the awards ceremony. Roy maintained a low profile at the event and even decided the skip the red carpet, a source told The Huffington Post.

"As long as I can remember, fashion has always been a part of my life. Its effect on me actually started before I was born," Beyonce told the crowd during her acceptance speech.

"When we were starting out in Destiny's Child, high-end labels, they didn't want to dress four black, country, curvy girls. And we couldn't afford designer dresses and couture. My mother [Tina Knowles] was rejected from every showroom in New York. But like my grandmother, she used her talent and her creativity to give her children their dreams," she added.
