A young boy wearing a bright yellow raincoat was almost attacked by a lion at one zoo in Japan.
According to ABC News Channel 4, the young boy was standing behind a glass where the lion was enclosed in when the endangered animal suddenly rushed to the glass and hit his face.

The reporter claimed that if the glass wasn't there, the boy would have been instantly mauled by the lion.
Meanwhile, a zoo-goer was able to take a video of the encounter and it revealed that the lion attacked the boy the minute he turned his back on him.
Immediately after a loud thud was heard, the young boy looked back and moved away from the glass.
On the other hand, the 400 plus pound lion simply walked away when he couldn't attack the boy.
As of late, it is unclear whether or not the lion's face was hurt due to the impact he made on the glass barrier.
The parents of the young boy who were most likely with him declined to comment regarding the incident.
In other news, one lion was recently killed after he attacked a 20-year-old man who was believed to be suffering from a mental disorder.
According to multiple sources, the man jumped into the lion's cage in an attempt to commit suicide.
Unfortunately, zookeepers saw the man being attacked by the lion so they decided to shoot the animal on the chest.
According to Happy Bird House, the two lions were simply playing with the man, but the latter kept provoking them because he wanted to die.
"The Big Bang Theory" actress Kaley Cuoco shared her reaction regarding the lion's killing and said that the zookeepers should have let the man, and not the lion, die.
