Last week his fans went crazy when he was spotted out and about without his famous beard and now we have the answer as to why Kit Harington shaved off his signature fuzz.
The 29-year-old actor who grew fame for his role of Jon Snow in the infamous Game of Thrones franchise clarified the loss of his beard by posting a video of himself on his Instagram account Friday.

The video shows Harington in a motion capture studio where is he currently doing avatar work for his role in the upcoming Call of Duty game. He captioned the short clip "The face of the enemy from the #infinitewarfare motion capture set."
Back on Wednesday, Entertainment Weekly posted a video of the British heartthrob being wheeled into a cage full of cameras, this was later revealed to be a special animation camera that will capture the actor in 3D which will then make it easier fort the game animators to create his character for the game.
So far it seems like the producers at the studio are very happy with the 'Game of Thrones' star.
Narrative director Taylor Kurosaki also gushed that 'Kit is an amazing talent and a very consummate pro.'
'Our story is about an epic showdown of opposing forces, and Kit immersed himself into the role and truly became the embodiment of the enemy which are the Settlement Defense Front and we can't wait for both fans of the game and of Game of Thrones to see Kit play an entirely different kind of character.'
In addition to Kit, director Guy Ritchie is reportedly directing all of the actors scenes
Studio Head, Dave Stohl confirmed this by releasing a statement saying,'Guy Ritchie is a friend of the franchise, so it was great to have him back to work with us, assisting in bringing Kit Harington's character to life in Infinite Warfare.'
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare was available for presale back in April; the game comes out in November 2016.
