"Sleepy Hollow" star Nikki Reed is reportedly threatened by the possibility that her husband Ian Somerhalder's ex-girlfriend Nina Dobrev will return to "The Vampire Diaries."

In an interview with TV Line, executive producer Julie Plec said that she already spoke with Dobrev regarding the latter's possible return.

The exec added that she only requested the actress' presence in the finale episode for "The Vampire Diaries."

However, Plec acknowledged the possibility that Dobrev could be part of more episodes in the last season of the hit The CW series.

"It's what she and I kind of agreed on when she decided to move on, and it's what I've got in my head. Obviously things can change throughout time, if the show goes on longer than we expect it to or if we all collectively decide it would be fun to bring her back earlier, and she wanted to... So I'm sticking with my side of the plan, which is bring her back at the very end," she said.

Meanwhile, there are some rumors that Reed is even more threatened by the fact that there are thousands of Elena Gilbert (Dobrev) and Damon Salvatore (Somerhalder) supporters across the globe.

One fan @Lizzy wrote on TV Line that she's very excited to know that Elena is alive.

"BEST moment of the episode!! Loved it! Delena is alive. Wow, Damon's love is so strong, it overrides all fear. He just HAD to check and be sure. Powerful stuff. Epic love," the fan wrote.

In other news, some fans are also furious over Dobrev's return to the series.

One fan @Heather said that Damon should seriously consider burning Elena's coffin in season 8 since it will be Somerhalder's last season on the show.

"The Vampire Diaries" season 8 will premiere on The CW in the next couple of months.
