Blizzard recently rolled out the new Overwatch update, which will no doubt disappoint fans of the Widowmaker and McCree characters. The update was rolled out on Tuesday and is exclusively for the PC platform.
With the new update, McCree's rapid fire skill received a serious damage decrease, although it does reduce the delay before reload. For Widowmaker, the character's assault rifle now does less damage when making typical shots, but now deals more damage when making a headshot. Moreover, the character's Ultimate now takes more time to build up.

There are a handful of new updates, although most are for the game's stability. The update brings improvements in stability to high-bandwidth custom games.
A fix for the bug wherein Mercy gains Ultimate charge whenever giving damage boosts to an ally who is attacking a barrier or Ice Wall was included in the update. Another bug was also fixed, the one that allowed the Reaper to Shadow Step to unintended locations on some maps.
Specifically, McCree's Peacemaker skill now has a recovery time of 0.3 seconds, an improvement to the previous time of 0.75 seconds. On the other hand, the skill's damage decreased from 70 to 45.
As for the Widowmaker, the character's Scoped Shot skill now has a damage of 12, a decrease from 15, although the damage multiplier remains the same. Headshot damage multiplier was increased to 2.5 from 2. Moreover, players will have to wait for the unscoping animation to finish before they can scope again. Widowmaker's Infra-Sight Ultimate cost also increased by 10 percent.
Finally, a fix was also added with collision on certain areas of the Dorado map that do not block line of sight.
The new Overwatch patch, version 1.0.4, will be released on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles as part of a larger patch which will be released "at a later date."
