Chinese smartphone manufacturer UMi has announced that its latest device - the UMi London - is now available in the international market for the price of 459.87 Yuan ($69.99).  The highlight of this new device is the Dual Glass IPS display called DG Twin Shield technology.

After the success of UMi's Super smartphone, the Chinese company is back on the scene to continue its domination in the market. UMi is proud to announce the UMi London, featuring DG Twin Shield technology, which is the most durable screen glass protection available, according to the company.

As far as the overall technical specifications of the device, UMi London smartphone features a five-inch display that supports 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. The screen is equipped with DG Twin Shield technology paired with a dual T2X-1 2.5 D glass and 3M double coated foam tape with 0.23mm pressure relief lamination.

In addition, the company has claimed that its new smartphone can survive a drop from up to six meters. According to UMi, the device has a built-in aluminum alloy frame, which makes it tough and light in your hands.

UMi London is powered by an MTK MT6580 Quad-Core 1.3 Ghz processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It has a built-in 8GB internal memory onboard storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD slot. The device runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box and is equipped with Mali- 400 GPU for graphics.

The smartphone is powered by a SONY 2050mAh lithium polymer battery. The device sports an 8-megapixel Sony IMX149 main camera and a 2-megapixel front facing camera for selfies. The handset has a thickness of 8.5mm and weighs about 160grams.

Other connectivity options include GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and Wi-Fi IEEE802.11 b/g/n. It also supports G-Sensor, L-Sensor, P-Sensor, and Accelerometer.

UMi London smartphone is a dual-SIM device, supporting micro and nano SIM.

The UMi London smartphone will be available in three color options - white, black, and gold.
