Incoming Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte is rumored to be eyeing Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci and Lazio winger Antonio Candreva, both his players in the Italy national team, in a £57 million double swoop this summer.

Caught Offside reported that the 46-year-old bench tactician, currently overseeing the Italian national squad in the ongoing Euro 2016, is "planning a £57m double swoop" for Bonucci and Candreva this offseason.

The former Juventus coach is said to be keen on adding his two trusted international wards to the revolution he is planning at the Stamford Bridge next season and the two "would undoubtedly be wise acquisitions for Conte given their quality on the ball as well as what they bring off it," the report also noted.

Candreva is one of Conte's most trusted goalscorers and his regular starter in the Italian team. He is set to bring the Rome native with him in Chelsea to upgrade the Blues' scoring options, perhaps putting him in a scoring trident up front with Spanish striker Diego Costa and Belgian winger Eden Hazard or former Barça forward Pedro.

The 29-year-old Candreva is said to be planning to join Inter Milan this summer, but Conte is still "hopeful" that he will be able to lure him away from I Nerazzurri.

Meanwhile, Bonucci, also 29, is reported to have already agreed on a new three-year, £130,000 a week contract with Juve and so Conte's dream of having the two players come over to England is hanging by a thin thread, according to The Sun.

Conte is reportedly intending to make Bonucci the central defender in his trademark three-man defensive formation in the Bridge next season with Gary Cahill and Kurt Zouma to his left and right sides respectively.

The Blues are ready to shell out £32 million for Bonucci and £25 million for Candreva, according to reports, as Conte will be given a huge £150 million transfer kitty to renovate the squad's roster this summer.
