(Photo : Reuters) Huawei plans to create own mobile operating system, which is more user-friendly.
Huawei reportedly has plans of building its operating system, making its interface more user-friendly for American consumers.
The company decided to make its mobile operating system as a contingency plan in case Google stops providing Android support for third-party devices. Another reason is if Google restricts Huawei's freedom with Android. The initiative was prompted by recent reports about Google plans of controlling its own Nexus and OEM devices.

Besides that, Huawei was working EMUI 5.0 skin for Android with VP of Design Abigail Brody, former Apple designer who worked with creating iOS 1. The team leading the development effort on the possible new mobile OS is based somewhere in Scandinavia, includes ex-Nokia employees.
The secret OS project of Huawei is still in its early stage. Currently, Huawei seems committed to Android, the operating system that helped the company to gain explosive growth in China.
It is worth noting that building a different OS that has no roots in Android would automatically disconnect the supply of hundreds of popular apps. It means that users would have to get familiar with the new OS and a new interface. Samsung's own OS Tizen already has a head start in this regard. However, it is not yet fully operational.
The team will be building the OS based on Android. It will address issues such as a glaring cosmetic and pain points with the next major version of EMUI set for this fall. The UI changes include a visual revamp of its software to appear like Material Design and less like iOS, new icons, a new set of vibrant colors, and additional an app drawer.
