Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei has announced that its latest device, Honor 5C will arrive in some European countries this month. The Huawei Honor 5C smartphone will have a starting price of £149 (around $221.89).

Earlier this year, Huawei officially released the Honor 5X smartphone in the Chinese market and internationally. The device received good feedbacks from some tech enthusiasts, since its specs are decent, and it is a budget-friendly device. To continue its domination in the market, Huawei will soon unveil the Honor 5C in Europe.

Regarding the specification, the Honor 5C smartphone features a 5.2 inch full HD IPS display screen. The device is powered by Huawei's Hisilicon Kirin 650 processor, paired with 2GB of RAM onboard.

The smartphone is packed with a 3,000mAh capacity battery inside. The handset comes with a built-in 16GB internal memory storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD slot.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Honor 5C sports a decent 13-megapixel main shooter and an 8-megapixel front facing the camera for selfies and video calling purposes. On the software side, the device runs on the latest Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system, along with Huawei's customized user interface. According to Huawei, this version of the smartphone comes with an improved UI and some bug fixes of the previous version.

Meanwhile, this version of the device does not come with a fingerprint scanner, although the initial Chinese model of the Huawei Honor 5C has the feature. Users should not expect too much power on this smartphone since it just has a mid-range device intended for entry level.

Besides this announcement, there are no words yet on whether this device will be released in the United States market.
