Macau casino tycoon Alvin Chau's affair with model Mandy Lieu just seems to be going stronger, which prompted his wife, Heidi Chan, to file for divorce. However, Alvin seems to be unprepared to lose his wife, as he recently attempted to win her back.

On Sunday, June 19, Alvin and Heidi crossed paths when they attended a mutual friend's birthday party. According to Hong Kong media, Alvin did his best to woo his wife back.

At one point, when Heidi was singing a song to the birthday celebrant, Alvin started walking toward her, which fellow guests noticed. They teased and cheered them on, which incited Alvin to say, "We are reunited."

Alvin kept on wrapping his arms around his estranged wife's waist, and, while she was surprised, she did not ask him to stay away. In the middle of the song, Alvin fell down, and someone shouted, "Your husband has fallen down."

Unfortunately, Heidi immediately corrected the person who shouted and repeatedly insisted, "My friend."

Alvin's attempts did not stop there. He continued to sing the song Love Me, Don't Go while hugging Heidi from behind. Eventually, Heidi broke down in tears and the once-happy couple hugged for a while.

They both got down from the stage, and people saw Alvin planting a kiss on her forehead, then on her lips. A reporter tried to ask Heidi whether she's back together with her husband, but she simply brushed the question off.

It was previously reported that Alvin and Heidi's divorce proceedings have already begun, and there was news that Alvin would finally move in with Lieu in Hong Kong once the divorce is finalized.
