Famous Taiwanese writer and director Giddens Ko has reportedly reconciled with the woman he previously had an affair with.

Giddens was in a relationship with girlfriend Xiao Nei, but he was caught cheating two years ago when he checked into a motel with news reporter Zhou Tingyu, who also was in a relationship.

Asian Pop News reported that after the cheating scandal made headlines, he immediately held a press conference and admitted his infidelity. He and his girlfriend eventually parted ways with Giddons saying, "It was better to breakup."

"Be it now or in the future, we will maintain our friendship and continue to support and give blessings to one another," he added.

As for Tingyu, she was dismissed from her job and dumped by her boyfriend.

At the time, Giddons said, "I really like this girl [Zhou Tingyu] a lot, but when it comes to my love choice, I hope my future will be with my existing girlfriend."

However, that seems to have changed, as he is now back together with Tingyu, the third party. Two nights ago, on June 21, the director and Tingyu were spotted playing table hockey.

The two were oblivious to the murmurs and stares, and regardless of the outrageous scandal they went through, the two looked extremely happy to be together.

Asked about their relationship status, the You Are the Apple of My Eye director issued a statement through his manager, which read, "We are dating. Thank you for concern."

The reconciled couple have been together for three months already.
