Chinese smartphone maker Zopo has announced that its deca-core powered smartphone - the Zopo Speed 8 - will be available in India this month. The new smartphone will be available on online retailing website Amazon for Rs 31,500 ($464) and Naaptol for Rs 29,999 ($441.89).

Earlier this year, the Chinese company humbly unveiled its first smartphone, which features a Helio X20 deca-core processor of Mediatek - Zopo Speed 8. The device received good feedback because of its powerful processing unit.

And like any other Chinese company, Zopo will be also bringing its products to India.

With regards to the specifications of the device, the Zopo Speed 8 smartphone features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD IPS display screen. As mentioned earlier, the handheld device is powered by MediaTek's latest Helio X20 deca-core processor, which is paired with an impressive 4GB of onboard RAM. The device is equipped with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU and has a built-in 32GB internal memory storage.

The Speed 8 smartphone runs on the latest Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box and is backed up by a 3600mAh capacity battery, which supports fast charging technology.

It sports a huge 21-megapixel main shooter with PDAF, a dual LED Flash light, and a Sony IMX230 sensor coupled with an 8-megapixel front-shooter camera. The front shooter of the smartphone also comes with an LED flash.

Connectivity options of the smartphone include 4G LTE, Dual SIM, WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1, USB Type-C, and a fingerprint scanner on the back panel. The handset is sleek and slim in design, measuring only 152.5 x 76.35 x 9.8mm and weighing 136 grams.
