Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has announced that its latest device - the Redmi 3S smartphone - is now available on the online retailing website, Banggood. The smartphone is priced at $159.99 (1192 Yuan). The company is offering a $20 coupon discount for every purchase of the Redmi 3S smartphones; bringing the price down to $159.99 (1060 Yuan).

The Xiaomi Redmi 3S smartphone features a standard 5-inch display that supports 720 x 1280 HD screen resolution. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 430 (quad-core Cortex-A53 @ 1.5GHz + quad-core Cortex-A53 @ 1.2GHz) Octa-core processor paired with 2GB/3GB of RAM. It comes equipped with a built-in 16GB/32GB internal memory storage, which can be expanded up to128GB via a microSD card slot.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3S smartphone runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) operating system out of the box coupled with MIUI 7 user interface. The device is packed with a non-removable 4100mAh capacity battery inside.

With regards to the cameras of the device, it sports a 13-megapixel main camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash support. It also comes with a 5-megapixel f/2.2 aperture camera for selfies and video calling purposes. At the back of the Xiaomi Redmi 3S is a circular fingerprint sensor.

The connectivity options of the Xiaomi Redmi 3S include 2G / 3G / 4G LTE Networks support, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, 3G, FM Radio, USB OTG, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, A-GPS, and GLONASS.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3S smartphone is currently on sale on Banggood. It is available in Silver, Gold, and Dark Grey color variants.
