Bottom two squad Changchun Yatai FC (3-9-4, 13 points) will try to climb out of the relegation area as they face surging team Hangzhou Greentown FC (4-9-3, 15 points) at the Development Area Stadium on Sunday, July 10 as the 2016 Chinese Super League season moves forward.

Changchun is reeling at the moment as they had been winless in four of their last five matches to drop at the 15th spot of the 16-team China top flight table. They are three points above cellar dwellers Shandong Luneng and only a point before 14th-placed team Shijiazhuang Ever Bright.

Manager Lee Jang-soo's squad is coming off a 0-3 thrashing from contending team Shanghai Greenland Shenhua FC on the road at the Hongkou Stadium last Sunday, as per Shanghai Daily.

Li Jianbin, Demba Ba, and Obafemi Martins scored a goal each for the hosts at the 51st, 67th, and 90th+4 minutes respectively while pulling off a shutout against Changchun.

Meanwhile, Hangzhou Greentown climbed out of the relegation zone with a high-scoring 4-2 victory over newly-promoted side Yanbian Funde FC at the Yanji Nationwide Fitness Centre Stadium also last Sunday, via Football Australia.

Socceroo forward Tim Cahill scored the opening goal for Hangzhou right at the fifth minute of the match, which instigated two more goals from his side at the 15th and 19th courtesy of Huang Xiyang and fellow import Denilson Gabionetta.

The win was the Green Giants' second straight following an 11-game winless slide that saw them at the bottom of the overall standings for a couple of weeks.

With the momentum of a two-game winning run on head coach Hong Myung-bo's side, Changchun would have a hard time beating them even if they are playing at their home ground.

The predicted result is a tough 1-0 win for Hangzhou Greentown.
