(Photo : YouTube Screenshot) It is unclear when the Meizu Pro 7 will hit the market.
The first leaked image of the Meizu Pro 7 has surfaced online, showing the back of the smartphone. It appears to have a totally different design from its predecessors. Meizu is fond of taking inspiration for its devices from the American multinational tech company Apple. But with the Meizu Pro 7, it seems to have shifted its source of inspiration to the South Korean multinational company Samsung.

The leaked image shows that the Meizu Pro 7 would have a glass body and rounded corners like the Samsung S7, which was launched in March. The device would also come with a 5.1-inch display, a premium glass, aluminum frame, and metal finish. These rounded corners make the smartphone very comfortable to hold, Gizmo China reported. The back of Pro 7 has a minimalist design with a camera, a flash, and the company's logo.
According to GSM Arena, this leaked image is not the first peek of the Meizu Pro 7. A leaked image surfaced online in May, showing the front of the smartphone with a curved screen. Meizu has not confirmed if the leaked images are indeed true depictions of the Pro 7, which is still in the works.
Meizu is also planning to launch its flagship smartphone, the Meizu MX6, on July 19. MX6 has been spotted on the AnTuTu benchmarking website. According to the specifications revealed in the listing, the device would have a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage as well as the Helio X20 chipset.
