Meizu MX6 to Cost $300, to be Launched on July 19

Meizu MX6 would cost 2000 yuan ($300) and is expected to be launched on July 19.
According to Gizmo China, leaked images of emails show that Meizu co-founder and chief executive officer Bai Yongxiang is dissatisfied with the design of the MX6. He said that the smartphone would have a lot more advanced technology than the Meizu Pro 6 flagship, making it costly.

The dual-SIM MX6 has a 5.5-inch multitouch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a pixel density of 401ppi, and a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by a dual-core MediaTek MT6797 Helio X20 chipset clocked at a speed of 2.3 GHz. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with a Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. It comes in three variants; one with 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, another with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, and one with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
MX6 is packed with a non-removable Li-Ion 4000 mAh battery, GSM Arena reported. It features a 20.7-megapixel camera at the back with an aperture of f/2.2, a dual-LED dual-tone flash, and a laser autofocus. It also features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. Its connectivity options are USB Type-C port, GPS/A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.2, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. Its sensors include an accelerometer, fingerprint scanner, compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.
The MX6 is available in silver, gold, gray, and black/silver color.
