According to EuroBasket News, the 6-foot-9 tall American professional power-forward recently played for the Puerto Rican basketball club Caciques de Humacao of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN). Costner was averaging an impressive 19.9 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest in the 38 official games that he played for the Daniel Maes-owned team.

The 28-year-old native of Montclair, New Jersey was Humacao's second leading scorer and was named to the BSN All-Star this year.

Brandon Costner, who was an All-Atlantic Coast Conference Freshman Team member in 2007, was drafted by NBA D-League club Utah Flash in the year 2010 as its 8th overall pick. The Los Angeles D-Fenders acquired his services after his stint with the Flash on November 2011.

During his tenure with Los Angeles, Costner was named to the All D-League Third Team in year 2012. He won the D-League West Division championship title with the team in year 2014.

Costner is not a newcomer in the Chinese league. He has previously played for the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) club Jiangsu Tongxi Monkeys before and after it was promoted in the 2014-15 season of the league. According to RealGM, Costner is averaging 25.10 points and 8.2 rebounds during his stint with the professional Chinese team.

Costner also played in two different leagues in Europe. He wore the jersey of the team Belfius Mons-Hainaut in Belgium for the 2009-2010 season and with the Limoges CSP Elite basketball side in France in year 2011. He is best remembered in a game in the 2007 ACC Tournament against the Duke Blue Devils in which he scored 30 points to secure victory for the Wolfpack.
