Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oukitel is set to release yet another smartphone that will have a massive battery pack. There are rumors that the Oukitel K7000 would feature a massive 2,000mAh battery pack with a 5,000mAh matrix battery case which could be attached to the device without adding too much bulk.

The good thing about this new battery case is that it is bundled with the Oukitel K7000 package, instead of being sold separately.
Oukitel claims that the matrix battery case is more than just a battery extension for the Oukitel K7000. The battery case can also serve as a power bank for charging other devices. It also has a kickstand on its back which would allow the device to stand upright.
Aside from providing extra power, the matrix battery case also serves as a sort of protective case for the smartphone. While most battery cases tend to add bulk to the device, the Oukitel's model is rumored to be around 4mm thick only, according to GizChina.
The Oukitel K7000 is rumored to be a targeting the low-tiered market. It has 2GB of memory, a MediaTek chipset with a quad-core processor. The most intriguing spec is its 5-inch display with 720p resolution. While 1080p is becoming quite the standard when it comes to smartphone resolution, 720p is still used by some low-tiered smartphone models. While 720p does offer a lower image quality, there is less stress on the phone's battery, according to WCCF Tech.
The Oukitel K7000, along with the matrix battery case, costs $110.
