"I plan to start my own studio with my manager," Ng told the press on Sunday. "I'm currently working on it."
According to local media, when the actor was asked if he would consider recruiting actress Tavia Yeung, who is his good friend and a free agent like himself, the actor said that it would be "great" to have the actress on board as he had been under the same management as Yeung in the past.
The 36-year old then explained that matters are still in the discussion stage at the moment.
When asked whether he would be signing with other agencies following his departure from former company TVB, Ng stated that he does not think he would be joining any other agencies for now.
Ng left TVB back in 2015 after being under the company's management for 17 years following his debut in 1998. As to the reason why he left the company, the actor stated that he "hopes to try new things." Apart from said reason, the actor supposedly stated that he wanted to find a better opportunity in line with his acting career.
In related news, Ng will be holding a concert with Tavia Yeung, NacyWu and Ruco Chan in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in August. In lieu of the upcoming event, Ng said that he has been working out and has lost more than 10 pounds over the past weeks.
