Taiwanese female group S.H.E. member Selina Jen has asked the public to "go easy" on her former husband Richard Chang, adding that she blames herself for the divorce.
Selina's decision to end her four-year marriage with Chang left her fans shocked. There have been several rumors about the couple's decision to get a divorce, but the singer-actress denied all of the allegations and stated that it was merely because she and her former husband had problems in terms of finding common ground.

During an appearance on the set of Stay Healthy, Stay Happy, the 34-years old celebrity finally addressed the issue.
Jen assured the public that she is doing fine and implied that she did not spiral into depression as most have expected despite the divorce, but she admitted that she was emotional and also felt pressured. The singer-actress said that she was "psychologically prepared" for the separation.
"I blame myself more than I blame him," Jen stated tearfully. She further asked the public to give her husband of four years some space and privacy, citing that she and Chang have discussed the matter and decided amicably.
Furthermore, Jen said that she and Chang are hoping to be there for each other in a different way.
On the other hand, Jen's fellow S.H.E. members Hebe Tien and Ella Chen have offered words of encouragement to her, saying in a joint statement that they support Jen's decision. Chen also posted a message on her Facebook account, expressing her hope for the former couple to feel better.
