Angelababy News: Actress Talks About New Film with Jing Boran

After co-starring in the Hollywood film "Independence Day: Resurgence," Angelababy is back in the news again as she is set to show off her undeniable acting prowess in a new film with Jing Boran.
Called "Love O2O," the 27-year-old model-actress will be playing a character that a lot of people can surely relate to considering the high popularity of online gaming these days.

The upcoming fantasy romance, which will officially open in Chinese mainland theaters on Aug. 12, will feature two video game players who will eventually find love in each other's arms.
According to China.org, Angelababy and Jing Boran are college students whose love story will start in the cyber world and will go on in the real world.
The actress will play Bei Weiwei, a certified online gamer, while the actor will give life to character of Xiao Nai, an "all-around excellent student."
Meanwhile, in an interview with China Daily, Angelababy shared her thoughts about her role in "Love O2O."
"I once played a game continuously for 12 hours," she said. "To those players you've rivaled or teamed up with, you'll be really curious to meet them personally."
For the actor, their second project together is trying to send a message especially to those who are playing online games.
"More and more people are relying on the internet to communicate," he stated. "I believe the movie wants to send a message: Even though the online world is fictional, the love could be true."
It can be recalled that Angelababy and Jing Boran first worked together for the 2010 romance film "Hot Summer Days."
