Disney's newest attraction, the Shanghai Disneyland Park, has already registered close to a million visitors, according to Disney Chief Executive Officer Robert Iger.
"It would be safe to assume almost a million people have experienced the park," Iger said at the Fortune Brainstorm Tech conference in Aspen, Colorado, on Monday (July 11).

The theme park and resort opened its doors about a month ago but tourists and visitors are flocking to the attraction located in Pudong, Shanghai, and staying longer than expected every day, he continued.
Iger added that visitors have developed a special liking towards "Chinese barbecued pork with rice, cheeseburgers and turkey legs" served at the park, according to Agence France-Presse.
He pointed out that the park was selling nearly 3,000 turkey legs each day. "We are introducing turkey legs to China," he said about the delicacy, which goes for $8 a piece at Disney.
Shanghai Disneyland tickets are relatively cheaper than Disney parks in the United States. The ticket price during peak times at the park is 499 yuan ($76) and 370 yuan ($56) during less busier times.
The Shanghai Disneyland Park, which opened on June 16, is Disney's sixth theme park in the world and its first in mainland China. Disney's Hong Kong outpost opened in 2005.
"I very much wanted to avoid being called a cultural imperialist," Iger said about incorporating elements from the Chinese culture in the park.
The park not only offers Chinese cuisine but also has certain Chinese features in its design. For instance, it includes a "Garden of the Twelve Friends" has been built, which showcases several Disney characters such as Pluto, Kaa from "Jungle Book" and "Winnie the Pooh's" Tigger as animals of the Chinese zodiac. The top of the iconic Disney castle has also been adorned with a traditional peony flower.
