"Ice Fantasy," an epic television fantasy drama, is set to make its debut on Sunday, July 24.

Recently, a trailer of "Ice Fantasy" was released via the show's official Weibo page along with four behind the scenes videos which introduced fans to some major characters, the very first one being a video of cast member Ma Tianyu.

"Ice Fantasy" is based on a novel titled "City of Fantasy," an epic written by Guo. However, unlike "L.O.R.D.," Guo will leave the directing of this movie to Hong Kong director Kong Leung Kuk.

As for the cast, William Feng will reportedly be leading as Ka Suo, a prince from the ice kingdom. Ma Tianyu will be playing the role of Feng's half brother, Kongshi, who, in the story, would suddenly go missing. Korean girl group f(x) member Victoria Song will also be joining the cast as Li Luo, Ka Suo's love interest.

"Ice Fantasy" tells the struggles of Ka Suo and the continuous strife of his domain against the neighboring fire kingdom, along with his forbidden love with Li Luo.

Other cast members include actress Zhang Meng who will play the role of a warrior princess named Yan Da, Korean actress Kim Heesun as Lian Ji, the mother of Kongshi, and Madina Memet as Lan Shang, a mermaid princess.
