"House of Spirits," a new drama launched by TVB, has been the talk of the town ever since it was launched. The drama is getting experiencing good reception, according to Asianpop News.
However, rumor has it that there is an internal conflict among the cast members Nancy Wu and Joyce Tang. Wu is said to be unhappy about how Tang has "stolen the limelight."
Tang has been getting much praise from viewers for her performance in "House of Spirits." In the TVB television program, the actress plays the role of actor Bobby Ay Yeung's younger sister, and has been getting quite a lot of screen time.
As the plot of the drama progresses, it looks like Tang's character is becoming the lead as opposed to the initial announcement that Wu's character is the female lead.
Due to these reasons, local news outlets have reported that Wu is not happy about Tang overshadowing her in "Hoe of Spirits." Asianpop News stated that Wu is upset over the matter.
Furthermore, Wu is said to have kept her distance from her female co-star after noticing that Tang was "stealing her limelight." Sources stated that Wu has skipped promotional events, including a dinner party held to celebrate the success of the drama.
However, after the rumors spread, Wu immediately spoke about the issue. The actress explained to the media that she missed the events since she was not in Hong Kong and will be back on July 20 to attend the rest of the promotional activities."
She further denied the allegations about her rift with Tang, saying, "As the drama has good ratings, it's natural to have more news."
