Table leader Anhui Wenyi continued their dominance in the league as they beat Jiangsu Lions with a 129-111 victory in the 21^st round of the Chinese National Basketball League (NBL) on Friday.

With the win, Anhui has recorded the longest winning streak in the minor league this season with 16 straight matches won. The team's last loss was against Shaanxi Xinda Wolves early in June. Anhui has improved to 19-2 win-loss record and shares the top spot in the table with the Wolves.

According to Asia-Basket, the 2014 NBA D-League All-Star Manny Harris continued his stellar game performance by registering another double-double production of game-high 43 big points and 14 rebounds, along with five steals. The former Los Angeles D-Fenders guard went 19 for 29 from the field and shot 4 out of 4 from the free-throw line in 36 minutes of playing.

Chinese player YongGang Zhang also had an impressive scoring game after pouring in 29 points while shooting 11 of 17 from the floor including five three-pointers from beyond the arc. American reinforcement Chris Singleton had 14 points and nine rebounds for the winners.

Locals Kai Ren and Yansong Ma chipped in 13 and 12 points respectively for Anhui.

Anhui demonstrated tough defense over the opposing team as they forced Jiangsu to commit 23 turnovers and the victors were also able to snatch 17 big steals against the Lions.

According to NowGoal, the winning team ended the first half of the game with a big 19-point lead 61-42.  Jiangsu was able to win the third quarter with a 36-33 run but still trailed by 16 points 94-78 entering the final period of the game.

Having a big lead, Anhui continued to dominate and contained Jiangsu in the final twelve minutes of the game to seal the victory.
