Chinese smartphone manufacturer Elephone has announced that its latest devices - Elephone S1 and Elephone P9000 - are now available in Vietnam. The two devices are available on Lazada.com - one of the largest online shopping platforms in South East Asia.

Several media houses were present to cover the launch of both devices in Vietnam. Both smartphones are also suitable for consumers who have a tight budget.

The Elephone S1 features a 5-inch Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels) display. The device is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor clocked at a speed of 1.3GHz. It is equipped with 1 GB of RAM onboard and comes with a built-in 8 GB internal memory storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card.

The S1 runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and is upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is powered by an 1800 mAh capacity battery. It features a 13-megapixel main camera and supports 4G LTE network.

While the Elephone P9000 features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels) display. It is equipped with a metallic body structure and a bezel-less design.  The device is powered by a MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 processor clocked at a speed of 2 GHz. It comes with 4 GB of RAM and a built-in 32 GB internal memory storage.

The P9000 sports a 13-megapixel main camera with SonyIMX258 lens and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It runs on Android Marshmallow operating out of the box and supports 4G LTE connectivity. It is powered by a 3000 mAh capacity battery and supports fast charging technology. The connectivity options of the P9000 include Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C.
