Chinese smartphone maker ZTE has officially launched its latest flagship device - ZTE Small Fresh 4 - in China for only $163. The device is the successor to Small Fresh 3 (dubbed as the Blade X6 in international markets) smartphone that was launched in November last year.

The ZTE Small Fresh 4 is currently available for pre-registration on Tmall and will land in stores starting July 26 this month. ZTE also announced that the first three devices in the Small Fresh series have sold over 300 million units worldwide, Phone Radar reported.

The ZTE Small Fresh 4 features a 5.2-inch Full-HD (1920 × 1080 pixels) IPS LCD screen with 2.5D curved glass. The device is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor clocked at a speed of 1.5GHz, paired with Mali T720 GPU.

The Small Fresh 4 comes equipped 2 GB of RAM onboard. It has a built-in 16 GB internal memory storage, which can be further expanded via a MicroSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box coupled with a customized MiFavor 3.5 user interface.

On the camera side, the Fresh 4 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF that can autofocus in just 0.1 seconds and dual tone LED flash. Below the rear camera is a round shaped fingerprint sensor capable of unlocking the device in just 0.3 seconds. This sensor can also be used as a shutter button for the camera app. The front-facing camera features 5-megapixel sensor with a 160-degree wide-angle lens.

The ZTE Small Fresh 4 is available in Silver, Gold, and Rose Gold color.
