Shaanxi Xinda Wolves Whip Hebei Xianglan in 22nd Round of Chinese National Basketball League

The league's top-notch team Shaanxi Xinda Wolves strengthened its hold of the top of the team standing by defeating Hebei Xianglan with a dominating 125-86 victory in the 22nd round of the Chinese National Basketball League (NBL) on Sunday.
With the win, the Wolves now have the NBL's best win-loss record of 20-2. The Zhengxiu Jiang-headed basketball team is currently the sole No. 1 club in the league's table after Anhui Wenyi's 125-120 loss of Anhui Wenyi to Guizhou. Anhui now has a 19-3 record and is the second-best team in the regular season.

According to Asia-Basket, former Austin Toros player Tyler Wilkerson led Shaanxi with a double-double production of game-high 32 points and 14 boards along with four assists and one blocked shot in 38 minutes of playing. The American power-forward went 10 for 16 from the field and made 11 of 14 from the foul line.
Former Clemson University Tigers player James Mays continued to showcase his rebounding excellence after another double-double game finish with 25 points and 24 boards under his name for the winners. Local player Xiang Liqing had 20 points while JianJun Qi and Jiguang Bi had a combined 17 points for Shaanxi.
Shaanxi also won the battle for the rebounds, edging the opposing team with 57-38 including a 40-24 advantage in the defensive boards. Hebei registered 10 assists while the Wolves had 18.
Shannon Shorter paced Hebei with team-highs 30 points and 10 rebounds while Chinese players Ye Zhao and Yao Liu added 16 and 12 points respectively.
According to NowGoal, the winning team dominated the match. Shaanxi entered the four quarter of the game with a comfortable 23-point lead 92-69. The victors continued to pound Hebei with a 33-17 run in the final twelve minutes of the game to seal the victory.
