It's not often that you get to see a movie star waiting in line to watch his own film.

Moviegoers waiting in line at a cinema hall in Hong Kong last Thursday were in for shock when they found an actor starring in one of the movies being shown at the multiplex waiting in line to buy tickets with them.

Chow Yun Fat, the iconic actor who has featured in epic films like "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon," "Bulletproof Monk" and "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" was waiting in line with fellow patrons in the company of his wife Jasmine Tan, according to The Shanghaiist.

The 61-year-old actor was at the cinema to watch his recent release, "Cold War 2," the hit follow-up to the 2012 blockbuster crime-thriller "Cold War." The film, which smashed opening day box-office records in Hong Kong and China after its release earlier this month, also stars Aaron Kwok and Tony Leung.

Once Chow was recognized by fans, he posed for selfies and photographs with them and even signed autographs for them while waiting in queue. Just when we thought we didn't need another reason to love Chow!

The beloved actor has a reputation for being a humble, kind and generous human being. In 2014, "The Monkey King" star announced that he would be donating his entire USD 164 million net worth to charity following his death.

Chow recently announced that he would be taking a temporary break from the show business in order to focus on his health, as we previously reported.
