Chinese smartphone maker Elephone has announced that its flagship device - the Elephone P9000 - is currently part of a flash sale on Banggood. The flash sale will start at UTC 17:00 on July 21 and ends the next day. The original price of the device is $229.99 (approximately Rs. 15455.89 / 1538 Yuan), but during the sale, it will be available for as low as $179.00 (around Rs. 12029 / 241203 Yuan).

The sale will only last for a short period since there are only five pieces of the Elephone P9000 to be sold. By purchasing this item, customers will get a discount of $50. In addition, Banggood has also announced that from July 20 until 27, the smartphone will be priced at $189.99 (approximately 1270 Yuan) on its official website.

The Elephone P9000 features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display screen. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6755 (Helio P10) processor - Elephone's first smartphone to pack this chipset. It comes with 4 GB of RAM onboard and has a built-in 32GB internal memory storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.

The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box. It has a 3000 mAh capacity battery with quick charge technology support. The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel f2.0 Sony IMX258 main shooter coupled with an 8-megapixel OV8858 Front Camera that supports Laser Auto Focus and double flash.

The connectivity options of the device include 4G LTE support, 2.4G/5G WI-FI, NFC, Type-C USB, OTG, Bluetooth 4.0, and a dual positioning system.
