Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Launch Delayed to August, Not on July 25; Analyst Pan Jiutang Revealed

The launch date of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, also known as Xiaomi Note 2, has been delayed to August and not on July 25, according to the popular analyst Pan Jiutang.

Recently, Xiaomi co-founder Liwan Jiang revealed Huawei's plan to unveil its high-end products in August. This sparked speculations that the Mi Note 2 could also be released next month.

According to BGR, Huawei will host an event in China on July 27 where the Xiaomi Redmi Pro smartphone and Mi laptops will be unveiled. The company has already released teasers about Redmi Pro, which has a 5.5-inch full high-definition OLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The Redmi Pro runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is powered by a deca-core MediaTeK Helio X25 chipset.

The Mi Note 2 will likely be a high-end smartphone, GSM Arena reported. It has a 5.7-inch quad high-definition 1080p AMOLED display. It is powered by a Snapdragon 821 chipset. The device comes in three storage variants; one with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, another with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, and a third version with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The device is packed with a 4000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. It features a 16-megapixel camera at the back. The device's connectivity options include 4G, NFC, and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
