Xiaomi Mi Notebook and Mi Notebook Pro be Launched Today, Look Strikingly Similar to MacBooks

Xiaomi Mi Notebook and Mi Notebook Pro are set to be launched on Wednesday at a press event that Chinese-based manufacturer Xiaomi is hosting. The devices have been confirmed to have two USB ports on one side; one of which is the USB Type-C port that supports Type-C charging with extended connections and a full-size USB 3.0.

According to Press Insider Daily, Mi Notebook will come in two variants. The standard 12.5-inch notebook version will have a super-slim layout and minimalistic thin bezels with an all-metallic design. It seems to bulkier than Apple's MacBook Air. It is powered by a Skylake Intel Core i5 chipset and will see for the price of 3999 yuan (approximately $600). It comes with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and 256 GB of SSD storage. It is packed with a 4-cell battery module that can last up to at least 8 hours.
Meanwhile, the Mi Notebook Pro version is a 15.6-inch notebook with full high-definition screen resolution. It is powered by a Skylake Intel Core i7 chipset and will sell for the price of 6699 yuan (approximately $1000). It comes with 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, 512 GB of SSD storage, a NVIDIA GTX 970M GPU, and a 4 GB DDR5 graphics card, The Bitbag reported. It is packed with a 4-cell battery module that can last up to 6 hours of steady backup.
Aside from Mi Notebook and Mi Notebook Pro laptops, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro is also expected to be launched at the Xiaomi's event.
