Jeremy Lin has had a busy offseason, returning to the birthplace of "Linsanity" to play for the Brooklyn Nets. Somehow he also found the time to become an actor, staring as himself in Ryan Higa's YouTube repurposing of Michael Jordan's Space Jam.
Higa, a popular YouTuber with more than 17.6 million subscribers, uploaded the video to his channel less than a day ago, and it already has over 805,000 views.

In a six-minute spoof, Jeremy Lin is sucked into a YouTube video by a live-action anime basketball team called the AnimeNiacs. The unwitting anime characters know nothing about basketball - they even think Lin is actually Michael Jordan.
Lin's hair is a major topic in the short, much as it was in the real world last season. GQ even featured a piece earlier this year about the Taiwanese star's hairdo, noting that he had "rocked everything from bowl cuts to Dragon Ball spikes to a mini man bun."
The video includes many references to Jordan's Space Jam, the most notable being the game's final shot, where Lin summons all his animated power and stretches his arm out for an impossible dunk. In this version, Lin's arm shoots out of the gym and through the park as the game freezes, complete with an Apple Spinning Beach Ball effect.
Does Lin hit the shot and save the day for his new team? Watch the whole video here to find out:
The Brooklyn Nets are hoping Lin can bring some similar magic to his new home. The Nets ended last season on a 10-game losing streak, finishing above only the lowly Philadelphia 76ers.
