The company recently posted a pair of teasers of the new Xiaomi VR headset online, Techno Buffalo reported. The first teaser confirmed that the device would be unveiled on August 1. The second teaser was posted on the Chinese website Weibo and promoted the VR headset with words such as "enjoy life," "energetic," and "best experience."

The Xiaomi VR headset is made out of spherical resin lens materials and ABS without stimulation plastic sheet, making it fully enclosed and environment-friendly. It is compatible with smartphones that have a 4-6 inch screen. It comes with an elastic band to make it convenient to use the 3D VR glasses on the head. It measures 8.65 x 5.11 x 4.21 inches and weighs 0.33 kilograms. Its flip cover design makes the smartphone accessible freely with suction cups.

There are still no announcements regarding the price of Xiaomi VR headset. Recently, Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air was announced back on July 27 and is the company's first laptop that has an all metal body and looks similar to Apple's MacBook Air in terms of its design.
