The Huawei Honor Note 8 has officially been unveiled. The device features a massive 6.6-inch quad high-definition AMOLED display, making it larger the Xiaomi Mi Max which has a screen size of 6.44 inches.
The Honor Note 8 is an upper mid-range smartphone with a display resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels; making its screen also sharper than Mi Max. Its AMOLED display produces rich and vibrant colors and consumes less battery in comparison to IPS panels. Another advantage to its display is that the thickness of the smartphone can be reduced and gives more appeal to it, Engadget reported.

Alongside the large screen of the Honor Note 8, it is packed with a massive 4500 mAh battery with a Type-C USB charger connector. It is powered by an octa-core Kirin 955 chipset like the Huawei P9. The Note 8 features a 13-megapixel camera at the back with image stabilization. It comes with a fingerprint scanner. The downside of it is that its sensor is not capable of recording videos at 4K but only at 1080p.
According to WCCFtech, Honor Note 8 comes in three storage variants; one with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage for a price tag of 2299 yuan ($344.20), another with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage for 2499 yuan ($376.11), and a third variant with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage for 2799 yuan ($421.26).
The Huawei Honor Note 8 will hit the shelves on August 9 and is expected be available in the United States.
