France was blown out by Australia, 87-66, in their Olympic-opener last Saturday also in the same venue with both squads    featuring top NBA players in their rosters, as per USA Today.

San Antonio Spurs point guard and former NBA Finals MVP Tony Parker spearheaded the Frenchmen with 18 points and two assists in a little over 20 minutes of playing time, but he was not able to receive enough support from fellow NBA players Nicolas Batum, Joffrey Lauvergne, Rudy Gobert, and Boris Diaw, who contributed only five, zero, five, and nine points respectively.

Parker's Spurs teammate Patty Mills led the Australian upset with 21 points, five assists, and two rebounds while former Golden State Warriors champion center and current Dallas Mavericks player Andrew Bogut backed him up with 18 markers, four boards, and five assists as well.

Meanwhile, China proved to be no match to the mighty United States in their game also last Saturday, falling to the Americans with a 119-62 score, via the Los Angeles Times.

Former NBA player Yi Jianlian was the lone bright spot for Team Dragon as he scored 25 points and grabbed six rebounds against an inhuman Team USA frontline composed of Sacramento Kings' DeMarcus Cousins and Los Angeles Clippers' DeAndre Jordan.

Chinese point guard Zhao Jiwei produced three points, six rebounds, and five assists in an impressive all-around game.

Parker is expected to take over the game and win it for head coach Vincent Collet's squad on Monday.

The predicted result is a 95-75 win for France.
