Chinese tech company Meizu on Wednesday unveiled the Meizu M3E smartphone. As expected, the device packs a pretty decent set of specs with a very reasonable price tag.

The Meizu M3E looks hauntingly familiar to the M3 Note, not only in design and aesthetics but also in specs. The M3E has a 5.5-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution. Powering the device is a MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 chipset with 3GB of LPDDR3 memory.

The Meizu M3E has a 32GB storage space which is expandable for users who need more space. The M3E sports the company's signature mTouch 2.1 Home button with a fingerprint sensor.

Just like the M3 Note, the M3E has a 13-megapixel rear camera powered by the IMX258 sensor from Sony. The camera has a f/2.2 aperture, LED flash, phase detection autofocus, and 5P lens. The device also sports a 5-megapixel front camera for selfie shots.

Compared to the M3 Note, the M3E is slightly slimmer measuring 153.6 x 75.8 x 7.9mm. On the other hand, with all the hardware packed into such a small form factor, the device, at 172 grams, weighs a bit heavier compared to the M3 Note.

Powering the Meizu M3E is a 3,100mAh battery pack. It supports fast charging technology. It comes with a mCharger that can recharge the device from zero to 50 percent in just 30 minutes.

According to GSM Arena, the Meizu M3E is available in five colors: Blue, Gray, Gold, Rose Gold, and Silver. The smartphone is expected to have a price tag of around $195.
