Mysterious Meizu Phone Surfaces on Antutu Benchmark With 120,000 Score

Despite the lack of official confirmation from Meizu, a handful of recent leaks indicates that the company is working on a new smartphone. A recently listed benchmark result on Antutu revealed that a new Meizu smartphone is under development, and it will sport the Samsung Exynos 8890 chipset.
Following the official launch of the Meizu M3E sporting a MediaTek chipset, tech experts believed that Meizu had finally put rumors about it using a Samsung Exynos chipset to rest. However, it appears that Meizu has more surprises under its sleeve, with its latest device that surfaced on the Antutu benchmark listing.

Antutu recently posted the benchmark result of an unknown Meizu smartphone. Despite most of its specs shrouded in mystery, the device posted some pretty impressive score.
The unknown Meizu device scored somewhere around 120,000 points on AnTuTu, making in on par with the Samsung Galaxy S7, according to Giz China. What is more interesting is that the Meizu device uses the same chipset as the Galaxy S7, the powerful Exynos 8890.
The device was labeled Meizu_m96. The device will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and will have a Mali T880 graphics processing unit, according to WCCF Tech. Additionally, the device will have 4GB of memory, 32GB of storage space, and a display that supports 2560x1440 resolution. The upcoming Meizu device will sport a 12-megapxiel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera.
