Gionee S6s Smartphone to be Launched in India on August 22

Chinese tech giant Gionee has announced that its latest upcoming device - the Gionee S6s smartphone - is set to be launched in India on August 22. The device smartphone comes with a metallic body and features mid-range specifications.
The design of the Gionee S6s smartphone is almost similar to the Gionee S6 Pro. The specifications are the same on both these devices. The S6s features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display screen with a 2.5D glass panel laid on top. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor clocked at a speed of 1.3GHz.

The Gionee S6s smartphone comes with a huge 3GB of RAM onboard and a built-in 32GB internal memory storage, which can be expanded via a dedicated MicroSD card slot. The device runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box coupled with Amigo 3.2 user interface on top of it.
The Gionee S6s sport a 13-megapixel IMX258 main camera with f/2.0 aperture and PDAF. It has an 8-megapixel front camera with 5P lens and f/2.2 aperture. Both these cameras are supported by a LED flash. On the back panel of the smartphone is a circular fingerprint sensor, making the device even more secure. It comes with a non-removable 3,150mAh capacity battery.
Other features the device comes with include 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. It measures a body dimension of 154.5 x 75.6 x 8.27 mm. It will be available in silver, gold, and rose gold color.
