Serbia registered their second victory in Group A as they beat China with a 94-60 win to move into the quarterfinal stage of the ongoing Olympic basketball tournament on Sunday in Rio de Janeiro.
According to Xinhua, Bogdan Bogdanovic, the 2016 Turkish Cup MVP, led the Serbians with a team-high 19 points while the former NBA player Yi Jianlian of China finished the match with game-high 20 points.

"This is a hard time for Chinese basketball. Our team is young and they don't have chances to compete with the best teams in the world. We have hard work back home," Yi said.
The Chinese team, which badly needed a win for a slim chance to progress to the next round, ended their 2016 Rio Games campaign without a win for the second-straight Olympics.
Serbia, which scored their first victory over Venezuela with an 86-62 win on August 7, immediately made their dominance felt with their 24-18 first quarter outburst. The winning team continued to pound the Chinese national squad with a 19-10 run in the second quarter to further extend their lead to 15 points 43-28, according to SofaScore.
The Asian powerhouse remained cold offensively as Serbia, who led by as much as 38 points, used the third period to further bury the opposing team with another 17-2 charge to pull away by a distance 60-30 midway into the third period. The game entered the final quarter with China trailing by huge 35 points 78-43.
"I think the Chinese team is younger this time and ready for a challenge," Chinese national head coach Gong Luming said. "They are eager to win. They want to contribute. That is the difference and also the hope of Chinese basketball."
The United States, France, Serbia and Australia advanced into the top eight from the group.
