Huawei G9 Plus With No Dual Camera Launched in China, to hit Stores on August 25

The Huawei G9 Plus smartphone has been launched in China. Registration has already started for the device, but it would hit shelves on August 25.
According to Digital Trends, the G9 Plus is the successor to the Huawei G9 Lite and sports an aluminum unibody design with nicely rounded corners. It has a 5.5-inch full high-definition IPS LCD with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 chipset clocked at a speed of 2.0 GHz. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Adreno 506 GPU and EMUI 4.1 skin.

The G9 Plus has very thin bezels on each side and features a 2.5D on top, Phone Radar reported. It comes in two storage variants; one with 3 GB in a 32 GB of internal storage with a price tag of 2399 yuan ($361) and another with 4 GB of RAM in a 64 GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 128 GB via a microSD card slot. There is still no pricing announced for the 4 GB RAM variant.
The G6 Plus features a single 16-megapixel camera at the back with autofocus, optical image stabilizer, and phase detection autofocus, which is capable of 4K video recording. It also sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with fixed focus features. It is packed with a 3340 mAh non-removable battery that can last 2.2 days of normal usage.
The G6 Plus weighs 160 grams and measures 7.3 mm thickness. The device's connectivity options include Wi-Fi, USB OTG, VoLTE, 4G LTE, USB Type-C port, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.1.
