Chinese smartphone manufacturer Onda has launched a new budget device dubbed the V80 SE for only $93. The Onda V80 SE shares one familiar spec with most tablets that are within its price point: it is powered by an Intel Atom processor.

The Onda V80 SE has an Intel Baytrail Z3735F processor clocked at 1.83GHz, with 2GB of memory, and 32GB of storage space which can be expanded up to 256GB. The tablet has an 8-inch display with 1920 x 1080 resolution. While most tablets on the market are a bit awkward to hold due to their massive size, the Onda V80 SE has a 16:10 aspect ratio making it a bit taller and slimmer, which gives a user a better grip especially when used with one hand, according to Giz China.

The Onda V80 SE runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop mobile operating system with the company's proprietary user interface Onda 2.0 OS on top. The V80 SE has a 2-megapixel rear facing sensor and a VGA front camera for selfie shots, video chatting, and video calling, according to Mobile Scout.

The Onda V80 SE has a 4200mAh battery pack which should be able to last for at least a day on normal usage. The device's connectivity options include Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It also has the traditional 3.5mm jack for headphones.

Although the Onda V80 SE does not pack enough hardware power to be on top of the competition, the tablet comes at a very budget friendly price.
