In a statement posted on its official website, Uhans wrote, "Although this giant [Nokia] has fallen down, its scrupulous attitude in phone manufacturing and glorious sales legend still remain. It is a classic brand to be admired in people's mind."
As a tribute, the company developed the Uhans A101. The company describes the smartphone as "rugged and solid as Nokia." The Uhans A101 also shares one important factor with some of Nokia's bestselling handsets; an affordable price tag.
The Uhans A101 retails for only $70, and despite its price tag, the phone does not look cheap. It features rounded edges with smooth lines.
The Uhans A101 sports a 5-inch Sharp display which is protected by a Gorilla Glass 4. It also comes equipped with the conventional 2.5D arc and oleophobic coating, according to Giz China. The back part of the smartphone is rubberized, giving users a nice and firm grip.
For a $70-device, the Uhans A101 packs a pretty decent specs. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6737 chipset with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 2GB of memory, and 16GB of storage space which is expandable. The smartphone has a 13-megapixel rear facing camera. It also runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has a 2200mAh battery pack.
