China's leading smartphone maker Xiaomi Inc. presented their new smartphone the 'Mi Note' today, which is expected provide strong competition for the Apple iPhone 6 Plus. )
It has been a while since rumors of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2's forthcoming release have surfaced.

Based on the leaked photo, the device will include a Snapdragon 820 processor, which could clock at 2.15 GHz, reported Phone Radar.
There are also expectations that the unit will finally be equipped with 6 GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will also supposedly contain 64 GB and 52.28 GB of internal storage.
While very little is known about the other key features of the handset, there are those who predict that the smartphone would have a 2K display and a huge 5.5 LCD.
And though many were disappointed that the Mi 5 didn't come with a 2K screen, there is still a possibility that the Mi Note 2 will include the high-resolution LCD.
If the leaked image is to be believed, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Android security patch is scheduled on Sept. 1.
Now, this piece of information could turn out to be true or inaccurate, and should therefore be taken with a grain of salt.
In the meantime, the Times of India has hinted that the design and build of the Mi Note 2 will likely be identical to the Mi 5.
In particular, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2will sport an all-metal exterior and a dual camera set up at the rear side.
