U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry says Egypt is an important partner in denouncing Islamic extremism during his talk with Egyptian leaders on Saturday to seek support for the international coalition that aims to beat the Islamic State (ISIL).
CIA Report: ISIL Could Raise Up To 31,500 Fighters

A day after U.S. President Obama’s announcement of an expanded counter-terrorism campaign, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) released information on Thursday that the Islamic State (ISIL) could raise between 20, 000 to 31, 500 extremist fighters, a figure that is three times more than the initial estimates.

U.S. President Barack Obama will lay out a broader offensive strategy this week to defeat the Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) in the Middle East. He will meet with congressional leaders on Tuesday and will address the American people on Wednesday, on the eve of the 13th 9/11 attack anniversary.
