The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has forecasted that China's economic growth reach 6.5 percent in 2016, according to its Asia Development Outlook 2016.

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), where India is the second biggest shareholder after China, is looking to raise $500 million to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi's plan to expand the country's solar capacity to 100 gigawatts by 2022.

ADB predicts China's growth will decline by 6.5 and 6.3 percent in 2016 and 2017, respectively.

China's growth will plummet by 6.5 percent in 2016 and further reduce to 6.3 percent in 2017, according to the annual economic outlook released by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on Wednesday, further cautioning the country's huge industrial overcapacity.
