US Considers Direct Military Intervention Against ISIS in Syria

ISIS on Aug. 22, 2014 has become perceived as such a threat against the U.S. homeland that officials reportedly are weighing direct military action against the group in Syria even as they weight military action against the Assad regime following reports it used chemical weapons in an attack last week.
