3 dead in crash after vehicle strikes, kills bear

A motorist's vehicle struck and killed a black bear on a road in the Florida Everglades and three others from another vehicle who had gotten out to help the woman where then struck and killed by a third vehicle, police said.

A hiker from New Jersey who was killed by a black bear back in September took photos of the animal that eventually mauled him to death, West Milford Police released in a statement.

Authorities have released information regarding the death of Darsh Patel, who died while hiking at a nature reserve with four other friends in New Jersey, saying that his fatal wounds were signs that a black bear had mauled him.
